discovering food by trial and error
i haven't been well, and pretty uninterested in cooking for quite some time. but now i'm better, and i celebrated the cooler weather with baked buns for breakfast.
they were just cinnamon rolls, but instead of the usual filling i smeared the dough with figs i had mashed an boiled for a couple of minutes, sprinkled with pine seeds and no cinnamon. it was less easy (and a bit more messy) to handle, but the final results were yummy :9
